He was predeceased by : his wife Ursula; his mother Mary; and his brothers, Peter, Jack, Joe, Richard and Mark.

He is survived by : his children, Jim (Sherry), Rick (Renée), Karen (Randy) and Ann Marie (Peter); his grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer), Melissa (Steve), Stephen, Matthew, Dominic, Tessa, Pete (Carrie), Adam, Colin (Danielle) and Phillip; his great grandchildren, Carter, Blake, Alex, Sarah, Dominic, Isla and Isaac; his sister Margaret; and his sister-in-law Rosanne (Larry).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8).
