He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Mary of Port. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Bernie, Sylvia (Valadamir), Mona (Mark), Brenda (Arash), Lily (Gordon) and Norma-Jean; his grandchildren, Robin, Jaime-Lee, Samantha and Matthew; his brothers, Harvey (Iris) and Bernie (Sylvia); and his pet Bella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
