He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Jr.; his brother Pat; and his parents, Eileen Sparkes and Harold Sparkes. He is survived by: his wife Kay'Katherine'; his children, Kimberly, Bradley and Kenny; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Brandi), Robyn (Lucas), Devon, Brandon (Madison), Ryan (Hayley), Camden and Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Mattias, Kenneth and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Donna (Hubert), Douglas and Howie (Bobbi-Lynn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel.
