Isabel Rose Rowsell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Isabel Rose Rowsell (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Frederick R. Rowsell; her parents, Jane Meadus and Henry Meadus; her siblings, Charles (Lucy), George (Valetta), Lewellyn (Vina), Harry (Joyce), Clarence (Katherine), Obediah (Marcie), Dougald (Olive), Maude (Arthur), Suzannah (Wesley), Louise (Thomas) and Phyllis (Jack); her grandchildren, Christian Rowsell (Dana) and Megan Parsons (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Mohammed-Rowsell, Noah Rowsell, Caroline and Annie Parsons-Dawe.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Richard Parsons Jr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Rowsell and Brenda Parsons; her great great grandchild Raina Mohammed; and her caregivers, Genny, Madison, Rose-Mary and Kim. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or the School Lunch Association, NL.
