She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Ewart Hillyard; and her siblings, Doug, Hubert, Boyd, Catherine Odom and Irene Moores.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Power (Gordon), Karen Hillyard and Don (Michelle); her sister Carol Kelland; her grandchildren, Elliott Power (Robyn), Lauren Power (Matthew Jewczyk), Evan Power (Shannon Laity), Carly (Oliver Kitching), Zoe Austin (Jasmine White-Reid), Allan, Colin Hillyard (Kayla), Mackenzie Hillyard (Liam Nevin) and Amanda Curwin (Kenny Kroeker); and her great grandchildren, Ella, William Jewczyk, Avery, Lily Power, Nori Curwin and Xavier Kroeker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to Topsail United Church or a charity of one's choice.
