We announce the death of Kendrick Quilantang (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 9. Kendrick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kendrick will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Kendrick will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Kendrick’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cherrizza and Kirk; his grandparents, Nancy Cruz, Arnel Cruz, Chyril Lewis, David Lewis, Allan Quilantang and Julienne Quilantang; and his great-grandparent Erika Lewis. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Anglican Church (419 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X7A2).
