He was predeceased by : his wife Jennie; his son Reg; his parents, Frank and Gladys; and his parents-in-law, Eleazer and Florence Dawe.

He is survived by : his daughters, Debbie (Roger) and Wanda (Michael); his grandchildren, Jessica (Curtis) and Cory (Danielle); and his great grandchild Caleb.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8).
