It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ballard (Conception Bay South, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth and William; her siblings, Roy, Roland, William and Patricia; and her close friend Hugh (Scottie).
She is survived by: her son Steve (Joanne); her grandson Matthew (Aly); her great grandchildren, James, Keira and Sapheira; and her close friend Doris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8).
