She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Mark and Sheldon; her mother Betty Fitzgerald; her siblings, Wally Fitzgerald (Daphne), Brendan Fitzgerald (Michaeline), Trudy Greenslade (Charlie), Annette Eby (Chris) and Colleen Decker; her siblings-in-law, Terry Chafe and Delores; her aunt Gertie Pembelton; her husband Dominic; her father Brendan Fitzgeald; her sister Helena Chafe; her brother-in-law Cecil Decker; and her uncle Jim Traverse.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Hickey's Memorial Chapel. A vigil service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas R. C. Church (23 Water St E, St. Lawrence, NL A0E2V0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
