Monica leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Monica’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Gibbons and Mary Gibbons of St. Vincent's; and her husband Edmund Moriarity (John). She is survived by: her children, Edmund (Christine) and Marlene (Will); and her grandchildren, Haley, Gavin and Marissa.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (182 Salmonier Line, Saint Vincent's, NL A0B3C0).
