He was predeceased by: his brothers, Randy and Robert. He is survived by: his significant other Jude; his mother Louise; his siblings, Lynn, Roxanne (Doug), Sherri (Terry), Ray (Marlene) and Paul (Dawn); his sister-in-law Sharon; his children, Andrea (Richard) and Derek (Kristen); and his grandchildren, Brianna, Brayden, Cameron and Chelsey.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hickeys Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick's memory may be made to the St. John's SPCA.
