He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Stefan; his grandchildren, Kinslee and Xavier; his daughter Janelle Richard (Junior); his grandchildren, Charley Ella and Marc Richard of La Tuque, PQ.; his siblings, Jane (Harold Pickett), Brenda (Rayme Dyke), Claude (Louise) and Dean (Lorna); his siblings-in-law, Marg Hann (John), Gay (Doug McDonald), Nora (Charlie), Cherylanne (Neil), Fox Harbour, Bonita (Roger), Max (Donna), Blair (Jean), Gerard, Dave (Raquel) and Dawn Phillips; his children, Michael and Kristi (family: Billy, Jamie, Jolene, Tyler); his parents-in-law, Cyril and Carmel Phillips; his siblings-in-law, Gail Marie and Mike; his sister Diane; Trenton.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Church. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Broughtons Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
