She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Neill and Gertrude O'Neill; and her brothers, John O'Neill and Kevin O'Neill. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Bown; her daughter Carolyn Morgan (Aaron Morgan); her granddaughters, Mara and Audrey Morgan; her siblings, Robert O'Neill (Sheila O'Neill) and Maureen Hodder; and her sister-in-law Sandra O'Neill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a large circle of dear friends.
Donations in Joan's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
