Rose Casey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Casey (Conche, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas John; her parents, Joseph Hunt and Ellen Hunt (Kearney); her parents-in-law, Peter and Adell Casey (Byrne); her adoptive parents, Mary Brown (Hunt) and John Brown; her siblings, Adelle Hunt, Margaret (Herbert Bromley), Rita (Leonard Abbott), Jack Hunt (Annie), Jim Hunt (Nell), Edmond and William Hunt (Margaret); her siblings-in-law, Stephen Casey, Jim Casey, Annie Hunt, Evangeline Casey, Margaret Hunt, Anne Casey-Bromley and Mary Casey-Blanchard; Margaret (Elias), Mary Theresa (John), Johnnie and Mick.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon (Marian Coleman), Terry (Rosina O'Dell), Judy (Jerry Pulchan) and Theresa (Terry Foley); her grandchildren, Andrew (Erica), Michael (Jessica), Katherine Casey (Luke), Alexander Pulchan, Marc and Robyn Foley (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Jack, Thomas, Noa Casey, Nora, Wren Casey, Alyssa Carew and Colton Foley; her siblings-in-law, Edward Blanchard, Edward Bromley and Loretta Casey; and her friends, L'Anse and Loup. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

We thank the many workers and visitors who made her time there comfortable during the early restrictions of COVID visiting.
