With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Leslie Hillier of Cormack, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Rachel; his parents-in-law, Edmund and Bernice Keeping; his brother Carl; his foster daughter Marilyn (Glenn); his son-in-law Jamie; and his nieces, Darlene and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his children, Wade (Tara), Sheila (Len), Dianne and Debbie; his grandchildren, Bradley, Tamara (Chuck), Dylan, Sara (Bradley), Courtney, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Nicole and Megan; his great grandchildren, Autumn, Harper, Hannah and Hudson; his grandsons, Jason, Stephen, Gerald and Jonathan; his siblings, Viola (Herb), Ethel (Chesley), Joyce (Guy), Raymond (Shirley) and Keith; Dave.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home North Main (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cormack Community Outdoor Rink (email protected) in memory of Albert Hillier or your local minor hockey association.
