He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blake and Mary Blake; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Joan Monan; his siblings, Hannah Jane McDonald and George Blake; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Keeping, Henry McDonald, Victor Monan, Charlie Corbett, Jane Crawley and Christine Corbett.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughter Michelle Hickey (Michael); his grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Hickey; his sister Rosemary Keeping; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Blake, Heather Sirman (Brian), Shelley Monan, Debbie Monan and David Monan (Theresa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Hallows Church (109 Humber Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H1G1).
