She is survived by: her children, Shena (Josh Dovedoff) and Cindy (Ray Acton); her grandchildren, Jordyn, Taylor, Mason, Cooper and Blake; her significant other Barry McFeeters; her siblings, Doris O'Leary, Fred Laing (Donna), Gladys Watts (Rod) and Boyd Laing; and her sister-in-law Doris Laing (Deborah Lyons).

With strength and dignity, Arlene accepted her diagnosis of Alzheimer's. For six years, she endured the unforgiving and relentless ravage of this disease.
