With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brian Joseph Hoskins of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hoskins and Mary Hoskins; and his siblings, Joanne Mitchell, Emily Marshy, Mary Chippett, Leo Hoskins and Norbert Hoskins.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Hoskins (Nee Butt); his children, Mark Hoskins (Amber) and Pamela Hall (Chris); his grandchildren, Emmie Louise Hoskins, Maxwell Hall and David Hall; his brother Fred Hoskins (Anita); his nieces, Nadia Marshy and Lisa Martell; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Coonan (Jack), Ralph Butt (Marlene) and Paul Butt (Nina).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Corner Brook Baptist Church (11 O'Connell Dr, Corner Brook, NL A2H5M5). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Mount Patricia Cemetery (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank, Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church in Brian's Memory.
