He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Loughlin and Nina Loughlin; his sister Mabel Pahl (Arthur); his great-nephews, Joshua Loughlin and Kyle Butt-Loughlin; his sister-in-law Jean Hawkins (Eric); and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Morella Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Vida; his son Terrance; his siblings, James (Flo), Carl (late Mary), Roland (Joan), Elva Simpson (late Donald) and Linda Jerrett (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Lorna Cook (John), Paul Barnes (Wanda) and Reg Nicholas (late Marion). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
