He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Parsons; his grandparents, John and Nina Durnford; and his uncles, Stanley Durnford, Calvin Durnford, Donald Durnford (Ann), Roland Durnford and Samuel Durnford (Maggie).

He is survived by: his stepfather Daniel Parsons; his brothers, Terry Parsons (Lori), Todd Parsons (Shelly) and Tony Parsons (Violet); his uncle John Durnford; his aunt Linda Durnford; and his sister-in-law Linda Earle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
