He is survived by: his children, Angela Dempsey (Paul), Eddie Janes Jr. (Kriste) and Melissa Janes; his grandchildren, Jesse Dempsey, John Dempsey, Taylor Dawn Janes, James Maclean, Riley Janes, Annokyn Janes, Travis Janes, Kaynen Janes, Austin Boudreau and Josh Boudreau; his great grandchildren, Venus and Theodore Dempsey; and his siblings, Karl Janes (Wendy), Bernard Janes (Lynn) and Ruby Tucker.
