He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his parents, Robert Allen and Mary Ellen Allen; his parents-in-law, John and Olga Gillette; his brothers, Bud Allen (Neta) and Fraser Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Valda Allen, Joan Thistle (Guy), Wally Legge, Dave Gillette, Reg Gillette and Herb Davies.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Gayle), Paul (Judy) and Mike (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jordan Allen (Sarah), Erika Critchley (Ryan), Laura Allen (Eric), Michaela Allen (Luke) and Megan Allen (Cody); his great grandchild William Critchley; his siblings, Floyd Allen, Lorena Monette (Don), Ann Davies and Eva Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Allen, Gwen Gillette, Cheryl Gillette, Yvonne Bagnell (Grant) and Irving Gillette (Leona). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (218 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3J4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Mary the Virgin Anglican Church (456 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3K6).
