He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Rowsell and Katherine Rowsell; and his siblings, Loderick Rowsell, Golda and Yvonne.

He is survived by: his siblings, Clarence Rowsell (Carol), Junior Rowsell (Christina), Terry Rowsell (Andrea), Joy Peloquin (Serge) and Peggy Reid (Melvin); and his children, Troy, Trent and Trina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Eric's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
