He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Lewis and Minnie Lewis; his sisters, Darlene and Loretta; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Tizzard and William "Blackie" Tobin.
He is survived by: his wife Cavell; his children, Gordon (Vanessa), Darlene (Scott) and Mark (Amanda); his siblings, Patrick Lewis (Diana), Bessie McKay (Andrew), Rita Tobin, Robert Lewis (Marilyn), Beatrice Lewis (Peter Oldford), Geraldine Lewis (Clifford Toope) and Sherry Lee Lewis; and his brother-in-law Lyndon (Barbara). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in George's memory to Canadian Cancer Society.
