She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Batten; and her parents, Chess and Blanche. She is survived by: her significant other John Collins; her daughters, Barbara Mackinnon (Mark) and Michelle Carberry (Glenn); her grandchildren, Courtney Murphy (Ben) and Samantha Carberry (Simon); her great grandchild Cole Naylor; and her siblings, Merrill White (Mary), Betty, Sue, Norma and Melvin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John.
Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery As expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scaredy Cat Rescue, St. John the Evangelist Building Fund and All Saints Building Fund.
