In loving memory of Greta Shirley Penney in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who departed this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband William John Penney; her significant other Alton Peterson; and her parents, Ron Hancock and Stella Hancock. She is survived by: her children, Denise Bennett (Terry), Danielle Webb (Greg), Debbie Budgell and Thomas Penney (Samantha); her grandchildren, Adam, Rebecca, Jillian, Alicia and Hayley; her great grandchildren, Noah, Sophia and Olivia; her brothers, Clayton Hancock (Edith) and Lorne Hancock (Judy); and her close friends, Maureen and Gord Carter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be Made to the NL West SPCA and Corner Brook Palliative Care in her memory.
