He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bennett and Laura Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Celina; his children, Alexander (Melanie) and Amber Jane; his siblings, Violet Dawson (Mike), Diane Sansford (Jerry), Blanche Cutler (Dave), Melene Foote (Stan), Trudy Blanchard (Brian), Glenda Ploughman (Tony), Gary Bennett (Daphne), Tia Hicks (Wade), Annemarie Bennett (Andy), Ben Bennett (Nancy), Len Bennett (Grace) and Grant Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon (Stan), Doreen (Daryl), Terry (Hilda), John (Carrie), Andy (Judy), Renny (Karen) and Lorry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (246 Main Rd, Norman's Cove, NL A0B0B6).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bay St. George Sick Children's Foundation.
