We are sad to announce that, on December 17, 2024, at the age of 70, Irene Elizabeth Stratton of Corner Brook, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Stratton; her parents, Pierce and Sarah; her siblings, Mildred McConnel (Patrick), Gertrude Noseworthy (Chesley) and Wayne Brake (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Daphne Brake (Edward).
She is survived by: her boyfriend Walter Sheppard; her daughters, Patricia Parker (Steve) and Amanda George (Neil); her stepchildren, Jeremy Sheppard (Anne Marie Lapierre) and Cori Lynn Sheppard; her grandchildren, Michael and Kallie; her stepgrandchildren, Brody and Tristen; and her siblings, Edward Brake, Tom Brake (Vicky), Esther Byrne (Tony), Kathleen Smith (Neil) and Rose Mcnaughtn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Irene's memory to one's choice.
