She was predeceased by: her husband George Young; her son Hughie Young; her parents, Catherine Snook and James Snook; her parents-in-law, Gertrude and John Young; and her brothers, Walter and Sandy Snook.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Lorna), Paul (Betty) and Rowena (Abby); her grandchildren, Desmond, Justin, Tina, Michelle, Blair, Eunice, Bradley, Hollie, Kris-Ann and Michael; her siblings, Dorothy, Marie, Brada, Sam, Harold and Newman; her daughter-in-law Brenda Wight; and her granddaughters-in-law, Kara and Krista.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Church Cemetery.
