He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Leonard and Annie Leonard; his parents-in-law, Chesley and Laura Price; his brother Tom Leonard; and his brothers-in-law, Sylvester Courtney, Vincent Lewis and Wilson Price.
He is survived by: his wife Daphne Leonard (Price); his son Stephen (Rosilyn); his grandsons, Andrew (Ashley), Aaron and Aiden Leonard; his sisters, Mary Courtney, Brenda Lewis and Jean Blackwood; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Kelly (Gerry), Christina Kelly (Wayne), Debbie Bruce (Leo), Gladys Leonard, Edna Price and Larry Price (Paula); and his close friends, Jim and Anita Mahoney.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Corner Brook Rapids Swim Club by etransfer to [email protected] with a note stating in memory of Jerry Leonard.
