She was predeceased by: her son Whyman; her parents, Edna Whelan and Henry Whelan; and her sisters, Hilda, Sue, Beatrice and Blanche.

She is survived by: her husband Harrison; her daughter Nancy; her granddaughter Keisha; her sister Hazel; her siblings-in-law, Angus, Noah Clarence (Linda), Eliza, Selina, Jessie Bessie (Hayward), Mahala and Effie; and her parents-in-law, Samuel and Evangeline Coombs. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in law, all other relatives and friends.
