She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Gillingham and Paul Gillingham; and her parents-in-law, Ruth and Raymond Fudge. She is survived by: her husband Dexter Fudge; her siblings, Lorraine Snook (Cyril), Paul Gillingham (Lorraine), Florence Newton (Charles) and George Gillingham (Lorna); her daughters, Deborah Meaney (John), Joan Cole (Terry), Karen Lipton (Dwayne) and Connie Fudge (Peggy); her grandchildren, Brad (Michelle), Samantha (Grant), Victoria, Evan (Brittany), Danielle (Jeremiah) and David (Kendra); her pet CoCo; and her great grandchild Blake Snook. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Fillatre Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan Fudge may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, or to a charity of your choice.
