She was predeceased by : her husband Kevin Sr.; her parents, Ella and Raymond; her brothers, Bill and Jim; her son-in-law Patrick; her parents-in-law, Claude and Rita; and her siblings-in-law, Peter, Clarence (Chum), Tom, Frank, David (Satch), Gerald, Eugene (Mose), Jim, Claude Jr., Joan, Mamie, Mary and Patsy.

She is survived by : her children, Debbie (Frank), Kevin (Neta) and Joanne (Art); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Adam), Nancy (Austin), Renee (James), Samantha (Tim), Matthew (Kim) and Danielle (Scott); her great grandchildren, Jude, Sadie, Eleanor, Everleigh, Simon, George, Cabot, Ada, Theo and Mercer; her siblings, Brian (Kim), Linda (Max) and Barb (Nels); and her siblings-in-law, Gerry (Marion), Larry (Lena), Wilfred (Marilyn), Merla, Betty, Judy, Sheila, Jill and Diane (Alex).

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 17th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 18th 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Country Haven Chapel (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 18th 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Mount Patricia Cemetery North Shore (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Joan's memory to the Make a Wish Foundation.
