With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Thistle (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 24, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Malcom Guy Thistle; and her parents, John Gillette and Olga Gillette. She is survived by: her children, Lisa and Grant; her siblings, Cheryl, Gwen (Wally), Joyce (Eric), Yvonne (Grant), Reg, Erving (Leona) and Dave (Elena); and her grandchildren, Graham, Liam and Ashley.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation and a private family service at Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Soper officiating.
