He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Boone and Elsie Boone; his siblings, George Boone (Beatrice), Ron Boone and Winnie Simms (Max); his brother-in-law Fred Simms; and his daughter-in-law Zena Boone.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Fern Dove; his sons, Dan Boone and Maxwell Joyce (Magan); his grandchildren, Faith, Paige, Lilly, Olivia and James; his sister Lorraine Simms; and his sister-in-law Rose Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
