She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Wilfred McKay; her foster son Bill Walsh; her parents, Robert Gale and Isabella Gale; her siblings, Lester, Leaman, Gordon Gale, Rose Miller and Bette Daniel; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Gale, Juanita Gale, Edna Alley, Onie McCarthy, Melba Roberts, Edith Shears, Willam McKay, James McKay, Alvin McKay, Ernest Roberts, Max Shears, Roy Alley, Charles McCarthy and Don Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Bennett (Phonse), Robert McKay and Brad McKay (Eileen); her foster son Robert Walsh; her grandchildren, Paul Bennett, Aaron Bennett (Miranda) and Megan Bennett; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Amieve, Nadia, Lydia, Alyssa, Landon, Wilf and Ivan; and her siblings-in-law, Rachel McKay, Nita McKay and Doug Daniel. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
