She is survived by: her children, Gabrielle, Willie and Lucas (Megan); and her in-laws, Melvin, Rowena, Baxter, Rose, Sherman, Elaine and Wayne Burton. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourage that donations be made in Julia's honor to local school programs, as she held so much care for her students and community.
