We bid farewell to Julia Irene Vokey (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Julia Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Oram and Lillian Oram; and her siblings, Beatrice Pynn and Joseph Oram. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Vokey; her children, Christine Vokey (Eugene Lane), Debbie Vokey and James Vokey (Jana); her grandchildren, Heather, Christine and Reis; her siblings, Harold Oram, Eydie Wiseman (Alvin) and Lindsey Oxford (Josie); and her brother-in-law Ben Bowring (Anne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Country Haven Chapel (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5).
