He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Russell and Mabel Russell; and his brother William "Bill". He is survived by: his wife Melissa Russell; his children, Anna Paul (Thadius Paul) and David Burt; his grandsons, Daniel Burt and Axel Burt; his siblings, Jerry Russell (Gwen) and Elsie Russell (Chad); his sister-in-law Holly; his nieces, Samantha, Shandi and Scosha; and his nephew Patrick.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home.
