He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hickey and Clara Hickey; his siblings, Cyril, Lester, Bill, Howard and Philomena; his nephew Shawn Hickey; and his great-nephew Rylan.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Grace Davis; his children, Lorilynn (Andrew Young), Sonya Strickland-Dupont (Kevin) and Jesse Hickey (Madison Hackett); and his grandchildren, Shelby (Cady), McKenzie (Cody), Rylee (Cole), Jacob, Destiney, Callie and Landon. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Lloyd's memory to a charity of one's choice.
