We announce the death of Lorraine Mae Loder (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Lorraine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph; her parents, Lionel McAuley and Jane McAuley; and her parents-in-law, Minnie and Douglas Loder.
She is survived by: her children, Lionel, Roderick (Sue-Ann), Terri-Lynn (Dave) and Koren (Don); her grandchildren, Leah, Liam, Cody, Kristopher, Meghan, Mack, Amie and Caleb; and her great grandchildren, Theodore, Mateo, Lacey, Lucy and Gillett. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (349 NL-440, Irishtown-Summerside, NL A0L1J0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Lorraine's memory to a charity of one's choice.
