He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Johnson and Mae Johnson; his siblings, Robert (Joan), Lillian (Arch) and Annie (Lloyd); his parents-in-law, George and Winnie Hurley; and his brothers, Wilbert Hurley, Hedley Hurley, Lloyd Hurley and Randy Field.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Johnson; his siblings, Wanda (Allan) and Wayne (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey (Carl) and Winston (Madeline). He is also survived by nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Community Church (177 O'Connell Dr, Corner Brook, NL A2H7J5). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at the Mount Patricia Cemetery North Shore (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Frank's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Daffodil Place).
