Molly Angelina Brake Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Molly Angelina Brake (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Walter Brake; her pet Tiny; her parents, Joseph Lovell and Elizabeth Lovell; her siblings, Florence Brake (George), Nettie Park (Donald), Emma Blanchard (Lawrence), Greta, Hannah Park (William), Esau, Maurice (Florence), Albert (Angela), Sandy and William; her brothers-in-law, Samuel Rideout, Owen Davis, Dick Parsons, Albert House and Gerald Kinslow; her parents-in-law, Maude and Francis Brake; her siblings-in-law, George, Clifton, Noble, Reginald, Rouse, Mona, Claudia and Gwennie; and also Mildred.

She is survived by: her children, Alva (Nora Walsh), Fay Gosse (Rod) and Boyd (Arwilda); her grandchildren, Mindy Finlay (Tom Gillingham), Megan Courtney (Shaun), John (Vicki Petronio), Sarah March (Kyle) and Allison (Grant Rose); her great grandchildren, Emily, Noah Brake, Nolan, Claire Finlay, Sophie, Dawson March, Carter Petronio and Tristen Mohyla; her siblings, Marina Kinslow, Josephine Rideout, Samuel (Kitty) and Richard (Inez); her siblings-in-law, Maxine, Rosie, Frances (Bert) and Raymond (Mercedes); and her friends, Jacquie, Glen, Mark, Brandon Rumbolt, Olive and Ralph Ellsworth.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy, a donation can be made in Molly's memory to Holy Trinity Church in Meadows, NL.
