She was predeceased by: her husband Jeremiah Griffin; her daughters, Rosalyn and Genevieve; her parents, Lucy Butt and Eric Butt; and her friends, Mabel Bennett and Pauline King.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Parsons (Calvin), Jerry Griffin (Linda), Jocelyn Bellows (Darrin) and Kim England (Brent); her grandchildren, Michelle, Tanya, Brad, Lana, Crystal, Kelly, Carolyn, Nicholas and Ashley; her sisters, Myrtle of Ontario, Peggy of Corner Brook, Valerie of St. Johns and Marie of Ontario; and her close friend Ruth Swyers. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted, or memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association.
