She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Piercey (Bill) and Dorothy Piercey; and her brothers, John Piercey and Ronald Piercey. She is survived by: her husband T. Gerald Murphy; her children, Stephen (Krista Fudge) of Steady Brook, Sean (Tina Delaney) of St. John's and Janice (Dennis Shelley) of Stephenville; her grandchildren, Leah, Megan, Madeline, William and Charles; and her brothers, Winston Piercey and Lloyd Piercey (Linda). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre Funeral Home (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H 7H7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Roman Catholic Cathedral.
