Olive Samson Obituary

We bid farewell to Olive Samson (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2026 at the age of 91. Olive touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Olive is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Olive's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Samson; and her daughter-in-law Linda (Scott). She is survived by: her sons, Ward (Elaine), Scott (Sybil) and Rocky (Betty Ann); and her grandchildren, Ryan, James, Jeremy and Zackary.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anglican Cemetery.
