She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howell and Rose Howell; her son Chesley Caines (Annabel); and her siblings, Ina Callahan, Bob, John and George Howell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine (Murray) and Joann (Joseph); her siblings, Judy (Nick), Ruth (Howard), Les (Gwen) and Bruce (Marg); her grandchildren, Ryan and Jamy; and her close friend Patricia Payne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Country Haven Chapel (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Dimanche Mount Patricia Cemetery (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
Flowers are graciously accepted or a dontation in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
