He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Duke; his parents, John Duke and Ellen Duke; and his siblings, James (Gloria), Peter, Gerard, Margaret Gillette (Roy), Mary McCue (Michael), Clara O'Keefe (George) and Nellie Norman (Bill).

He is survived by: his children, Patrick Jr. (Jennifer), Sheldon and Sherry (Shawn); his siblings, John (Annastache) and Matilda Dawe (John); and his siblings-in-law, Reginald Brake (Hilda), Wanda Stevens, Lana Brake, Linda Brake, Shirley Duke and Frances Duke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
