He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph and Anne Mary Curnew; his siblings, Ralph, Joe, Kathleen Prosper and Cecelia LaCosta; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Prosper and Jack LaCosta.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Yvonne; and his goddaughter Sheila LaCosta. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The inurnment was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
