He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Elizabeth, Rufus Young, Harold and Hilda Benoist; his uncles, Jerry Young, Joe Benoit and David Bennett; and his aunt Gloria Vincent.
He is survived by : his parents, Mary Bennett and Paul Benoist; his brother Danny (Sami); his nephew Lucas; his aunts and uncles, Angie, Maria, Mary of St. John's, Gerard of Scarborough, ON, Butch of Calgary, AB, Fred of Calgary, AB and Rick of St. John's; and his close friend Laura Hamilton. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private family viewing, and service to take place with interment at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
